This is the site where James Camerons epic film Titanic was made.  If fact many of the cast and crew from the film became quite popular in the area with local residents.  They would often eat in Puerto Nuevo and many had their pictures taken by the restaurant owners who proudly display them on their walls and are more than happy to tell you stories about when the actors would come in to eat.  Since that time, Fox has built the studio into a self contained production facility with some of the worlds largest stages and filming tanks.  There is even a tourist park called Foxploration!

FOXPLORATION

Foxploration is a visitors park that will take you behind the scene's of the movie business and show you some of the tricks of the trade.  They also offer you a chance to see some of the actual film sets of the epic Titanic movie in their Titanic expo.  There is a movie set called Canal Street, which looks like New York, where you can take a break and enjoy Domino's Pizza or a sandwich from Subway.  They also have a section called Dooly Plaza where you will be able to see the original fountain from Hello Dolly.   On week ends there is an open air amphitheatre where local musicians and artist perform.
